Jon Paul is the President of Value Added Finance Resources which helps frustrated business owners get new insights on how their business is doing to make better use of resources - people, capital, technology and reporting.

This means his company finds things that other people might miss, then determines and implements solutions for faster results. His company has been in business since 1992 and has been a resource to CEOs, CFOs and others in a wide range of industries - including manufacturing, distribution, service, telecom, internet, healthcare and non profit.

Jon is also a CPA and began his career with Arthur Andersen before going on to business school. He is the founder of the Finance Leaders Association, a networking/career success group of 500 6 figure financial executives.

Jon has extreme management experience - Head of finance/operations of a toy company that grew 400% in one year and had the number four selling toy in the industry. CFO for a pharmaceutical firm where he had to tell the board in his first week that it was days away from bankruptcy, then being a catalyst to help the company earn 54% net income on sales after tax four years later.

Jon has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois- Champaign/Urbana. He resides in Lake Forest with his wife Susan and two sons now in college.
